Serving over 600 students in the Kirkland area, this new two-story 79,500 SF educational facility and covered play structure was built on the existing school site.
The existing school remained operational until the new building was completed. Once complete, the existing building was demolished, and final site work was completed to provide a new full service elementary school featuring 30 classrooms, a library, cafeteria, gymnasium, office, and specialized instructional areas.Working adjacent to an active school required extra coordination to safely complete work, including rerouting electrical systems and carefully planned phased construction. VECA's scope also included the security system, structured cabling, audio visual system, fire alarm, and stage lighting.
