Connecting UW Husky Stadium to Northgate
Built underground, this new 117,000 SF cut-and-cover transit station was built amidst a busy campus with high pedestrian traffic.

The 395' long and 112' wide structure accommodates transit-oriented development over the top of the station. Adding to its complexity was the underground location, requiring materials to be fed in from the top. The station completed helps connect the 4.3-mile Northlink light rail extension for passengers between University of Washington and Northgate. Electrical scope includes power, lighting, fire alarm, grounding, building management systems, access control, and CCTV.
