Historic Courthouse Receives Transformative Renovation
Renovation within the historic courthouse in downtown Everett updated half of the 132,000 SF existing structure and added a new 33,000 SF, five-story wing.

The new facility's main floor is dedicated to customer service desks, including those for court clerks. In addition to 20 courtrooms, the building houses a law library, sheriff's office, and office space for county deputy prosecuting attorneys and court administrators. This was a phased project completed within an occupied facility which also met its sustainability goals. VECA worked closely with the design team and owner to meet specific functionality needs within each department.
