Sustainable Laboratory Space in Downtown Seattle
Highly flexible and adaptable spaces were incorporated to improve this award-winning facility's longevity as its tenants' needs evolve.

Constructed in downtown Seattle at 9th and Stewart, this 11-story multipurpose facility includes laboratory and technology shell space, retail, and secured parking above-grade for 165 cars. The building was designed to accommodate a diverse range of sciences and provides tenants with ultimate flexibility for the ever changing needs of Biotechnology and Biomedical companies. For example, HVAC equipment can be added or retrofitted through a removable 35'-wide louver system up the full height of the building. The electrical systems were programmed to the extent possible without a particular tenant in mind, including test layouts for 40/60,50/50, and 60/40 lab to office ratios.
