Sustainably-focused Affordable Housing
This 89,900 SF project provides 83 affordable-housing living units, tenant amenities, dedicated office spaces, and a six-classroom early learning center.

It is one of Bellingham's early fossil fuels free projects and features a large solar array on the roof, offering one-, two- and three-bedroom apartment homes for families under 50% and 60% of Area Median Income. With an ideal location and affordable, energy-efficient apartments, this project is sure to be a feature in Bellingham's growing waterfront community. The development includes a six-classroom early learning center operated by the YMCA that can serve up to 100 children inside the Millworks complex. Significant early collaboration was key to solving challenges around the site utilities and foundation.
